Internet, mobile services cut off indefinitely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi

Internet services in Islamabad and Rawalpindi were suspended from midnight Thursday, following a directive by the Ministry of Interior.

According to the ministry, the shutdown has been imposed for an indefinite period, and an official notification has been issued to that effect.

The suspension has also affected mobile phone networks, leaving citizens struggling with connectivity issues and communication disruptions across both cities.

The interior ministry offered no explanation for the suspension of cellular and internet services.
