Kasur man shot in private parts after video of molesting minor girl goes viral

A man, who allegedly molested a minor girl, was shot in his private parts in an alleged encounter with police in Kasur.

According to the police, a video circulating on social media showed the man molesting a 10-year-old girl in Zaheerabad Colony in Chunian.

CCTV footage purportedly captured him harassing the child as she played in the street. The girl’s father filed a complaint, and an FIR was registered against the suspect.

The police claimed that as they conducted a raid to apprehend the suspect, he tried to attack the personnel with his pistol that went off. Consquently, his private parts were critically injured. He was shifted to a hospital in an injured condition.

According to reports, the man lived in the same area as the minor girl. He is believed to be around 27 or 28 years old and is married and has a daughter.

This is a second such case in which the suspect has been shot in his private parts. Three weeks back, a video of a man molesting a young girl playing in the street in Shah Inayat Colony went viral, sparking outrage on social media.

The suspect, a laborer from Okara, was arrested by the City police after three days. He was also found injured, reportedly suffering a gunshot wound to his private parts. 

The police said that he attempted to flee the scene during a raid on Dhanpat Road and tried to pull out a pistol, which went off.
