A 20-year-old student from Abbottabad, Ehsaan Abbasi, demonstrated his innovative technological skills by successfully driving a manual car using a computer keyboard.

During an interview with the Independent Urdu, Ehsaan displayed his ingenuity by adapting a keyboard to control various car functions.

The young tech geek connected the car's wires to the keyboard and proceeded to start the engine and steer the vehicle using only the keyboard keys.

He further demonstrated his keyboard control over other car functions, including the clutch, brake, indicators, and lights.

Abbasi, who is a game enthusiast, achieved this remarkable feat after six months of hard work.

Inspired by games like GTA and Need for Speed, Ehsaan wondered why keyboard driving should not be possible in real life. This curiosity led him to develop this system.

When asked about the challenge of looking at both the keyboard and the car's windshield simultaneously, he mentioned that with practice, drivers can adapt to using a keyboard just like they do with a steering wheel, minimising the need to constantly look down.

The self-taught tech whiz achieved this feat without a formal background in programming or engineering, having only completed his FSc.

He is currently working on a further innovation that will allow for controlling the car remotely.

His curiosity and dedication were the driving forces behind this remarkable innovation.

Ehsaan Abbasi appealed to the government to facilitate his higher studies at an international university, as he is eager to learn about emerging technologies.
