Sanam Saeed addresses negative comments on her looks

Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed has finally responded to criticism and negative comments circulating on social media regarding her appearance and overall look.

The acclaimed and versatile actor recently appeared on Asim Yar’s show Star and Style Season 5, where she spoke candidly about her career and experiences with online trolling.

During the show, the host asked whether she had ever faced negative remarks or trolling on social media. Sanam Saeed responded that she has been fortunate throughout her career, as she has encountered very little negativity.

She added that at times, people have used terms such as “koji” or “khoji” when referring to her appearance.

The host clarified that “khoji” refers to a detective, while “koji” is often used in a derogatory sense for someone who does not fit conventional beauty.

Responding confidently, Sanam Saeed stated that if people describe her as “koji,” she does not consider it trolling, as such remarks are ultimately a reflection on the Creator.

She remarked, “God has made me the way I am, and I am content with it.”

During the conversation, host Asim Yar highlighted that in Pakistan, fair skin and specific facial features are often associated with beauty standards, whereas in other parts of the world, wheatish and diverse complexions are equally appreciated.

Sanam Saeed agreed and added that her facial features represent classic Pakistani characteristics. She also noted that people often compare her to other well-known Pakistani actresses when they meet her.
