Qatar announces visa-free arrival facility for Pakistani citizens

Qatar has introduced a free visa-on-arrival facility for eligible Pakistani passport holders, allowing them to stay in the country for up to 30 days.

The facility is also available to citizens of India and Thailand, according to Qatar’s Ministry of Interior.

However, Pakistani travellers must meet four mandatory conditions to qualify for the facility. Their passports must be valid for at least three months from the date of arrival, and they must have confirmed return air tickets.

Travellers are also required to book their hotel accommodation exclusively through Qatar’s official tourism platform, Discover Qatar. Hotel reservations made through other booking websites will not be accepted.

In addition, visitors must hold valid health insurance issued by an insurance provider approved by the Qatari authorities.
