Salman Khan voices support for students’ protest, calls for dialogue

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has expressed support for a student protest led by the Kakroach Janta Party (CJP), urging that the issue be addressed through dialogue and without giving it a political angle.
In a statement shared on X, Salman Khan said the movement began as a peaceful protest but it was disappointing to see it turn violent. He expressed sympathy for the students and their families who were affected during the unrest.
Salman said the issue of paper leaks is a serious concern and praised students for coming together in support of a better education system. He also appreciated the role of parents who stood alongside their children during the movement.
The actor said he respected the students’ stance and struggle, adding that their dedication, sincerity, and hard work showed their desire to pursue education, build a better future, and contribute to a more educated and developed India.
He described the protest as a step in the right direction, saying that students had demonstrated courage, determination, and a strong commitment to education through their peaceful efforts.
Salman Khan further stated that the matter concerns students and the education system and should not be politicized. He said the credit for the movement’s achievements belongs to the students and expressed hope that the government would support them and take necessary steps to strengthen the education system.
He concluded by hoping for a positive resolution and prayed for the success of all students seeking knowledge and a better future.
