Nida Yasir apologizes for remarks about food delivery riders after backlash

TV show host Nida Yasir has apologized to food delivery riders after her earlier remarks about them sparked criticism.

She clarified that she never intended to offend anyone, saying, “Main yahan kisi ko hurt karne nahi baithi.” During the show, Nida claimed that delivery riders create unnecessary problems, accusing them of failing to carry change and attempting to “swindle” extra money from customers.

Delivery riders reacted sharply to TV host Nida Yasir’s remarks and called for an apology for the remarks that, they said, were disrespectful and undermined their work.

After a lot of criticism from the rider community, Nida Yasir today asked for forgiveness from them.

Nida explained that she was sharing a personal bad experience with some riders, not the entire community. She added that many riders work with dedication, honesty, and responsibility, and her words should have reflected that distinction.

Nida further added that she always appreciate riders because they really work very hard to earn, only her choice of words were wrong as not everyone is the same.
