Arij Fatyma responds to criticism over her lifestyle after observing hijab

Renowned actress Arij Fatyma voiced her frustration over receiving unsolicited advice since she began wearing the hijab. The Gustakh Dil actor stated that she never received such comments during her acting career, but now people have made her new journey difficult.

Earlier, Arij Fatyma announced through social media that she had started observing the hijab. She also opened up about her cancer diagnosis and how she successfully underwent treatment.

Fans praised her strength and admired her spiritual transformation, but recently, the actress revealed that she has been facing judgment for her decision to wear the hijab.

In a  recent video posted on her Instagram account, Arij expressed her frustration, saying, “A lot of people ask me to post something new on my stories, but honestly, there is nothing new to be shared.”

She further added, “Ever since I became active on social media again and started covering my head, people think they have a license to guide me.”

“When I was not covering my head, it was easier to survive. But now that I have started covering it, I receive constant messages about what I should or should not do with the hijab. It was much easier before, but it’s far more difficult now. This is my journey, let me follow it, don’t give me unnecessary suggestions,” she said with visible frustration.

Arij confidently shut down the unwarranted criticism and urged people to leave her alone in her journey. 

The actress, known for her roles in dramas such as Hassad, Aap Ke Liye, and others, is happily married to Dr Uzair, and the couple has two adorable children.
