In a shocking incident, an athlete named Hamza, who fainted during the 10,000m race at the Sindh Games, was transported to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw.

The incident raised concerns over the safety of athletes, as there was no ambulance present for immediate response.

The video of the incident went viral on social media, prompting netizens to question the medical facilities and emergency preparedness at the event.

In a viral video, a fainted athlete could be seen on another sportsman's shoulder, while another person claimed that there was no emergency service presented to tackle the emergency situation.

The concerns arose further when it was revealed that the Sindh Games was organised with a budget of over 160 million.

It's worth noting that the opening ceremony of the 18th Sindh Games took place at the National Coaching Centre on Friday (February 23).

The event features over 4,000 athletes participating in 42 men’s and 26 women’s competitions from various divisions including Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpur, Khas, Benazirabad, Larkana, and Sukkur.
