Stray dog attack claims minor's life

A boy died due to injuries sustained after being attacked by stray dogs at Alipur tehsil, and the situation has raised alarms regarding the increasing problems created by stray animals in the region.

According to information received from the family members of the victim, the incident took place at the jurisdiction of the Kandai police station, where a group of stray dogs attacked the young child named Rizwan, resulting in him sustaining critical injuries.

He was taken to THQ Hospital at Alipur for medical attention. Because of his condition, he was referred to the Nishtar Hospital Multan.

Despite receiving three days' treatment, the child unfortunately succumbed to death on Saturday. An inquiry has been launched by the police regarding the incident.
