Winter likely to begin in Karachi from December 15, says Met Office

Karachi is experiencing hot and dry weather, with temperatures likely to remain between 36°C and 38°C until the end of October, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The Met Office said daytime temperatures in the city could reach 37°C by November 6, after which they may drop to around 35°C.

Nights are expected to remain cool in November, while clear skies and strong sunshine are likely during the day, it added.

The department said winter in Karachi could begin around December 15, in line with the usual seasonal pattern.
