An eight-year-old girl was injured after being attacked by a pet lioness in Bhikaywal Pind, in the outskirts of Lahore. The incident sparked concerns over the illegal keeping of wild animals in residential neighborhoods.
According to police, the lioness attacked the girl outside a residence where it was kept as a pet. The girl sustained injuries to her ear, neck, and leg and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
However, according to medical reports, the child is in a stable condition.
