Gold price per tola rises by Rs9,600 in Pakistan

In the international market, gold gained $96 to reach $4,131 per ounce

Gold prices rose by Rs9,600 per tola in Pakistan on Thursday, following an increase in the international market, taking the local rate to Rs435,636.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs8,230 to reach Rs373,487, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In the international market, gold gained $96 to reach $4,131 per ounce.

The increase followed a Rs13,900 rise in the domestic price of gold per tola on Wednesday, when it settled at Rs426,036.

Silver prices also moved up, gaining Rs100 to reach Rs5,763 per tola.
