The Sui Southern spokesperson said gas supply to industries and the CNG sector in Karachi will remain suspended for 48 hours from Saturday, Jan 24. "The suspension will start at 8 am on Saturday and continue till 8 am on Monday, the spokesperson said.
The decision has been taken in view of the increasing demand for gas during the winter season.
Industries, captive power plants, and CNG stations will be affected
As per Sui Southern, the gas supply would be completely shut off to industries, captive power plants, and all CNG stations during this period. The move aims to manage limited gas availability amidst high seasonal consumption.
