During a recent committee meeting chaired by Syed Mustafa Mahmood, officials informed that approximately Rs30 billion losses each are incurred by SNGPL and SSGC due to theft and system inefficiencies.

According to SSGC, gas will be available from 3:00am to 9:00am for Sehri and again from 3:30pm to 10:00pm for Iftar and dinner.

The decision has been taken in view of the increasing demand for gas during the winter season.

Authority said gas supply situation is getting better in Karachi after restoration of 25 mmcfd to 30 mmcfd of natural gas from wells.
