TikToker Muhammad Ansar Jatt, popularly known as Mr Patlu, will have to wait until November 10 for the next hearing of his bail application in the Sialkot mehndi stampede case.
According to details of the court proceedings, Mr Patlu appeared before the court in a wheelchair, accompanied by a large number of lawyers. His legal team submitted a bail application before an Additional Sessions Judge.
However, the duty judge scheduled the next hearing for November 10, leaving his bail plea pending.
The court proceedings also drew attention as several lawyers gathered around the TikToker. Some were reportedly seen taking selfies with him and recording TikTok videos.
The case stems from a stampede during Mr Patlu’s mehndi ceremony in Sialkot, which claimed the lives of two people and left several others injured.
Following the tragic incident, police registered a case against Mr Patlu and several other individuals in connection with the stampede.
