Sanam Javed seeks Khula from husband while incarcerated at Kot Lakhpat Jail

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanam Javed, currently detained at Kot Lakhpat Jail, has approached a Lahore family court seeking khula from her husband, Atiq Riaz.

According to details, the Lahore Family Court has issued a notice to her husband, seeking his response on November 25 in connection with the khula petition.

Sanam Javed filed the petition through her lawyer, Barrister Khadija Siddiqui.

Her lawyer, Barrister Khadija Siddiqui, confirmed the legal development via social media.

Her legal team has urged media outlets, journalists, and online commentators to respect her privacy and avoid unnecessary speculation regarding the personal family matter. 

She is currently serving a sentence at Kot Lakhpat Jail in connection with the May 9 cases.
