Armed robbers snatch Rs150,000, mobile phone and bike in Karachi

KARACHI: Armed robbers on a motorcycle snatched two mobile phones and Rs150,000 in cash from a citizen in the Bhains Colony area before fleeing the scene.

According to the victim, repeated calls were made to police helpline 15 and Sukhan Police Station, but no law enforcement personnel arrived for over an hour.

In a separate incident, two teenage boys sustained injuries in a shooting near the Liaquatabad Post Office.

Police said the boys, aged 16 and 14, were speeding through narrow lanes on a motorcycle when an unidentified individual, suspecting them of suspicious activity, opened fire.

Authorities confirmed the teens are now out of danger. Investigations into both incidents are underway.
