The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded a passenger, who was attempting to travel to Spain from Islamabad International Airport using a suspected tampered Portuguese residence card.
According to media reports, the passenger, identified as Gul Fam Khan, son of Aman-ul-Haq and a resident of Sialkot, was stopped during immigration clearance while travelling on flight QR-633.
During the check process, authorities found that the expiry date on the Portuguese residence card had allegedly been altered.
The passenger reportedly told investigators in initial questioning that he had paid 200 euros to an agent to change the expiry date of the document.
Following the disclosure, the passenger was offloaded from the flight and handed over to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) in Islamabad for further investigation and legal action.
