Pakistan Army destroys multiple Afghan checkpoints in response to border provocation

Pakistan’s armed forces have delivered a strong response to alleged provocation by the Afghan Taliban regime along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

According to security sources, Afghan Taliban forces targeted a civilian population in Angoor Adda, South Waziristan, injuring five members of the same family. One civilian also lost their life in the attack.

Security sources said the Pakistan Army responded swiftly and effectively to the Afghan aggression, destroying multiple Afghan forces’ checkpoints during the retaliatory operation.

Sources added that the Pakistan Army’s response to the attack on civilians is ongoing. Pakistani troops remain fully prepared to thwart any further aggression by the enemy.
