Punjab launches second phase of Honhaar Scholarship; here's how to apply

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Monday announced the launch of the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship programme, extending financial and educational support to an additional 30,000 students across the province.
In a post on social media platform X, Maryam said the initiative aims to equip the province’s youth with the skills and knowledge necessary for future careers, describing their aspirations as “the heartbeat of Punjab’s future.”
According to the provincial government, the programme has supported 80,000 students since its inception last year. At present, 50,000 students are enrolled under the scheme, with the new phase increasing the total number of beneficiaries to 80,000.
The Honhaar Scholarship covers 67 fields of study, offering opportunities for both academic and vocational training. Maryam encouraged students to apply through the programme’s online portal, urging them to “study with dedication” and “believe in their potential.”
