Senator Irfan Siddiqui of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) extended praise to the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, labeling him a "national hero."

In his address in the Senate, Siddiqui emphasized the significance of following the PTI founder and expressed his opposition to the practice of arresting political leaders.

He underscored the importance of upholding enduring values and traditions amidst changes in government. Siddiqui also highlighted the willingness of his party to engage in dialogue with the opposition, drawing attention to previous collaborations with figures such as Mahmood Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Furthermore, he referenced remarks made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur regarding potential unrest in Islamabad.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that those who harmed the country's economy will be held accountable.
