PM Shehbaz Sharif praises Field Marshal Munir for strong response to Afghan provocations

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned Afghanistan’s recent provocations along Pakistan’s border, expressing deep concern over the hostile actions and reaffirming that Pakistan’s defense remains non-negotiable.

Paying tribute to the Pakistan Army, the Prime Minister lauded its “strong and effective response” to Afghan aggression, praising the professional excellence and decisive leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

“Under his command, our armed forces not only gave a powerful reply but also destroyed several Afghan posts, forcing their retreat,” he said.

Shehbaz Sharif vowed that every act of provocation would be met with a firm and proportionate response.

“Our defense is in strong hands, and we know well how to safeguard every inch of our motherland,” he stated, emphasizing that the entire nation stands united behind the armed forces.

The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s repeated warnings to the Afghan authorities about the presence of terrorist groups such as Fitna-tul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan, who are using Afghan soil to attack Pakistan.

He urged the Afghan interim government to act responsibly and ensure that its territory is not exploited by hostile elements targeting Pakistan.
