Pakistan has successfully conducted the first test of its indigenously developed 'Fa'az' air-to-air missile.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Fa'az missile has been developed locally and is equipped with an advanced terminal guidance system.

The military's media wing stated that the missile is capable of engaging enemy targets at long ranges.

According to the ISPR, the missile represents another significant milestone in the advancement of Pakistan's aerospace and defence capabilities. It is expected to considerably enhance the operational flexibility of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and further strengthen the country's overall defence posture.

The successful test highlights the technological maturity, innovation and growing self-reliance of Pakistan's defence industry.

The ISPR further stated that the test was witnessed by senior officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, along with distinguished scientists and engineers.
