PM Shehbaz reaffirmed security of Chinese citizens working in the country remains the government’s top priority. 

The PM witnessed the signing of nine agreements worth around $440 million between Pakistani and Chinese private companies in the pharmaceutical sector. 

PM Shehbaz expressed confidence that the agreements would translate into practical projects focused on pharmaceutical manufacturing, vaccine production, research and development, and technology collaboration. 

He said the partnerships could help Pakistan become a regional hub for producing and exporting life-saving medicines.

Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated the efforts of government officials, diplomats, and business leaders who contributed to organizing the conference. 

He praised the role of Chinese leadership in supporting bilateral cooperation and acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in promoting regional peace.

The agreements are expected to boost investment in healthcare, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries.
