The board said the results of all optional subjects in the science groups were processed through electronic assessment using the latest Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and electronic marking (E-Marking) systems.

The board said a new grading system was introduced for the 2026 Intermediate Part-I annual examinations following decisions by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC) and the Sindh government's Universities and Boards Department.

Under the new system, candidates scoring less than 40% marks in any paper will be placed in the 'Ungraded' category and will not be considered to have passed that subject.

Such candidates will have to retake the relevant paper if they meet the other requirements for appearing in the examination.

The board said results for all the groups have been uploaded to its official website. Students can also check their results through the board's official Android application, available on the Google Play Store under the name BIEK.
