The government of Balochistan has announced a special Ramazan relief package to support low-income households across the province.

According to official report, around 328,000 deserving families will receive assistance under the initiative during the holy month. Sarfraz Bugti said the program reflects the commitment of Balochistan government to ensure the low-income and deserving households can meet essential needs during Ramazan.

The CM stated that committees have been formed in every district to guarantee transparent and fair distribution of aid. He highlighted that the relief would be delivered directly to family’s doorstep so that only genuinely deserving households receive support.

Officials claim that this relief package is part of broader initiatives by provincial and federal authorities to expand social protection during Ramazan. Recently, the federal government also revealed a nationwide relief program worth billions of rupees to assist millions of families through digital payments.

Furthermore, the Quetta division commissioner Shahzeb Khan Kakar directed relevant authorities during a meeting to devise a clear and efficient plan for ration distribution during Ramazan. The meeting also discussed maintaining law and order and smooth arrangements for Taraweeh prayers and other religious activities during the holy month.

Provincial officials say monitoring teams will oversee implementation to ensure timely delivery and transparency in aid distribution to poor families throughout Ramazan.
