Late televangelist Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain's former wife, Syeda Bushra Iqbal, asserted that those who defamed her ex-husband have not realised that their actions contributed to his death.

She alluded to the controversial videos of Aamir Liaquat released by his third wife, Dania Shah, on social media platforms.

Addressing the media outside the Court of Judicial Magistrate in Karachi, Bushra vowed to leave no stone unturned to seek justice for her former spouse.

She disclosed that Dania Shah could not claim his inheritance as she had already taken Khula from him.

Bushra Iqbal clarified that her name was not mentioned in the NADRA records, and only Aamir Liaquat's children are listed as his heirs.

Aamir Liaquat and Dr Bushra Iqbal got married in 2002. Their marriage ended in 2021 after the former divorced his wife over a call in front of his second spouse, Tuba Anwer.

Later his second wife also took Khula from him and he tied the knot with Dania in 2022.
