Saudi Arabia will not agree to a truce or a ceasefire with the Houthis until the Yemeni government that it backs regains all the territory it has lost in recent weeks, a regional source told AFP on Friday.

Saudi Arabia will also not bow to the Houthis' "military blackmail", the source added, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition released footage of strikes on three Houthi missile launchers in Yemen, saying the weapons were destroyed at separate locations on Thursday.

Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said that the operation targeted truck-mounted launchers used by the Houthis. The footage also showed a strike against a member of a missile-launch crew at one of the sites.

In a statement posted on X, Al-Maliki warned that attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure would prompt a decisive response from the coalition.

The announcement came amid reports of deadly attacks at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said three Saudi citizens were killed and several other citizens and residents wounded in two incidents on Thursday.

According to GACA, one attack targeted airport facilities, while the other hit a Saudia aircraft. Both incidents caused material damage, but airport operations later resumed, the authority said.
