Sana Javed's Instagram story goes viral amid rumours of divorce

Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has denied reports of separation from his wife, actress Sana Javed, calling them “baseless,” shortly after which Sana’s Instagram story went viral.

Shoaib Malik has been in the headlines recently following rumours of a split with Sana Javed. Dismissing the speculation, Malik said, “All of this is nonsense. Alhamdulillah, my married life is very good and happy. My son lives in Dubai, my mother resides in Sialkot, and I live in Karachi. My professional commitments keep me busy, but there is absolutely no truth to such rumours.”

His statement quickly spread across media platforms like wildfire, with both Indian and Pakistani outlets, as well as social media pages, sharing his remarks widely.

Soon after, Sana Javed reshared an Instagram story originally posted by a fashion page on her account. The post carried a prayer for protection of the couple from the evil eye in light of Shoaib’s statement.

Adding her own caption to the shared story, Sana wrote, “Ameen Thumma Ameen,” expressing happiness and gratitude.

It is worth noting that Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed were married in January last year, announcing their union through a joint post on January 20.

The couple shared two wedding photos with the caption “Alhamdulillah” along with a verse from the Holy Quran.
