“I don’t have a sister,” says Alizeh Shah on lookalike comparisons with Nazeeha Zainab

Actress Alizeh Shah addressed the ongoing comparisons over her resemblance to emerging actress Nazeeha Zainab, who is currently starring in the drama series Jama Taqseem. She urged fans and viewers not to steal the spotlight from newcomers by comparing them to already established stars.

In a video circulating on Instagram, Alizeh Shah commented on the growing discussion about her lookalike in the entertainment industry. “I don’t have a sister,” she dismissed the comparisons.

Alizeh explained that she finds such comparisons unfair to rising artists. “I don’t like it when beautiful newcomers enter the industry and then get compared to celebrities. They have come here to build their own identity,” she said.

Reflecting on her early career, the actress recalled facing a similar situation. “I remember when I was compared to other celebrities, I didn’t like it either because I wanted to be recognised for my own individuality,” she added.

She went on to say, “If you dislike me that much, then why do I keep hearing every other day that there’s a ‘new Alizeh Shah’ in town?”
