Gold rises by Rs4,700 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices climbed sharply in Pakistan on Tuesday, tracking gains in the international market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola to Rs429,236.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,029, reaching Rs368,000.

A day earlier, gold had gained Rs300 per tola to settle at Rs424,536.

In the international market, gold prices rose by $47 to $4,068 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Silver prices also moved higher, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs219 to Rs6,396.
