Electricity charges reduced by Rs1.99 per unit for three months

Electricity consumers across Pakistan will receive relief as the power tariff was reduced by Rs1.99 per unit for a period of three months.

According to a notification, the reduction will apply from June to August 2026 under the quarterly adjustment for January-March 2026.

The notification stated that the relief will also be available to consumers of K-Electric.

The tariff reduction is expected to provide a total relief of Rs67.17 billion to electricity consumers nationwide during the three-month period.
