Iran is having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is: Trump

US President Donald Trump has ordered the destruction of every vessel involved in laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement issued on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that any boat planting mines in the Strait of Hormuz should be destroyed.

He added that the US Navy has been instructed to target all such vessels, whether large or small, claiming that all 159 enemy naval ships have already been sunk.

President Trump further stated that US minesweepers are actively clearing the Strait of Hormuz and that operations in the area have been intensified threefold.

In a separate statement, Trump said that Iran is facing serious difficulties in selecting its leadership, with deep divisions between hardliners and so-called moderates within the country.

He claimed that hardline elements are suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, while so-called moderates — whom he argued are not truly moderate — are gaining acceptance.

Trump also asserted that the United States has full control over the Strait of Hormuz, saying no vessel can enter or exit without the permission of the US Navy.

He added that the Strait has been completely sealed and that a strict blockade will remain in place until Iran reaches an agreement.
