Indian Idol Winner Prashant Tamang Dies at 43

Prashant Tamang, winner of Indian Idol season 3, has passed away at the age of 43.

According to reports, Prashant Tamang passed away at his residence in New Delhi after suffering a heart attack. His fans and fellow artists expressed deep sorrow and disbelief over his sudden demise.

Prashant gained immense fame in 2007 after he topped Indian Idol Season 3. Following that he performed at numerous concerts and events in India and all over the world, getting appreciation for his soulful voice and grounded personality.

Prashant also started his acting career along with his music career in 2010. His debut was in a Nepali film Gorkha Paltan. He later appeared in two more films, Nishani and Pardesi, where he was much appreciated for his acting by the audience.

Prashant also tapped into the digital space, appearing in the second season of Indian web series ‘Paatal Lok’.

On the news of his death, several actors and music artists wrote heartfelt posts for him on their social media, remembering Prashant as a humble, talented, and hardworking individual.
