Pakistan storm into under-19 Asia Cup final with dominant win over Bangladesh

Pakistan qualified for the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup after defeating Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the semi-final.
Chasing a modest target of 122 runs, the national side comfortably reached the target for the loss of just two wickets. The final of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and India on Sunday.
The second semi-final of the Under-19 Asia Cup, played in Dubai, was delayed due to rain and subsequently reduced to 27 overs per side. Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Batting first in the rain-affected match, Bangladesh were bowled out for 121 runs in 26.3 overs. Samiun Basir top-scored with 33 runs, followed by Azizul Hakim with 20, while Rifat Beg contributed 14 runs. No other Bangladeshi batter managed to reach double figures.
For Pakistan, Abdul Subhan delivered an outstanding bowling performance, claiming four wickets. Huzifa Ahsan picked up two wickets, while Ali Raza, Muhammad Siyam and Ahmed Hussain took one wicket each.
In reply, Pakistan chased down the target in the 17th over, losing only two wickets. Sameer Minhaj remained unbeaten on 69 runs, while Usman Khan scored 27 and Ahmed Hussain added 11 runs.
With this convincing victory, Pakistan knocked out defending champions Bangladesh and booked their place in the Under-19 Asia Cup final.
Earlier in the day, India defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the first semi-final.
The final of the Under-19 Asia Cup will be played on Sunday, December 21, in Dubai, where arch-rivals Pakistan and India will face each other once again.
