UAE CEO gifts foldable iPhones to women employees

A businesswoman from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has surprised several women by gifting them Apple's expensive foldable iPhones.

Haseena Nishad, the managing director of a UAE-based company, presented the gifts to her female employees as a surprise gesture of appreciation.

She had placed several gift boxes on the women's desks without revealing what was inside. When the employees opened the boxes, they discovered iPhone Duo devices worth approximately $2,000 each, equivalent to more than Rs550,000.

The unexpected gifts left the women visibly emotional.

In addition to her employees, Nishad also gifted an iPhone Duo to a woman who works as a domestic cleaner at her residence. Overwhelmed by the gesture, the woman hugged Nishad and burst into tears.

In an Instagram post, Nishad explained the motivation behind her decision to give the phones as gifts.

"I know that every woman has her own dreams, responsibilities and challenges. I want every woman to emerge stronger, become more confident and achieve all her dreams," she said.

She further added that nothing made her prouder than seeing a woman succeed.

"When one woman rises, she inspires another woman to find the courage to rise as well," Nishad said.
