However, KFC isn't included on the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) list, which calls for a boycott of Israeli and international companies that are complicit in violations of Palestinian rights.

But, its parent company, Yum Brands, has invested in several Israeli startups.

Yum Brands owns a variety of food chains globally, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill, except for China.

Earlier, Pakistanis also called for a boycott of PSL 9 after it announced KFC as its snacks partner.

However, following the backlash PSL management has deleted the announcement post on the microblogging site X.

The genocide being carried out by Israeli forces in Gaza has entered its fifth month with, on average, a child being killed every 10 minutes and almost the entire population of the occupied enclave becoming homeless.

On October 7, news emerged that Hamas had bulldozed the wall that imprisoned Gaza's 2.3 million population. Gaza, surrounded by Israel's apartheid wall, remains isolated from the rest of the world and faces a debilitating siege.

As of now, over 29,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel in strikes on Gaza.
