Gold price rises Rs4,200 to Rs487,136 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices climbed in Pakistan on Monday, tracking gains in the international market.

The price of gold rose Rs4,200 per tola to Rs487,136, according to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs3,601 to Rs417,640.

In the international market, gold gained $42 to reach $4,646 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs7,379 per tola.

The latest increase follows a Rs5,700 rise recorded in the previous reported session, when gold had reached Rs482,936 per tola.
