Hina Javed murder case: Autopsy reveals multiple injuries, cause of death yet to be determined

RAWALPINDI: The post-mortem report of Hina Javed, who was allegedly murdered by her husband with the assistance of an employee in Lal Kurti, has revealed multiple injuries to her body.

According to the report, Hina Javed had a fractured neck bone, while injury marks were also found on her ribs and hip bone. Blood was found around her heart, the report stated.

The post-mortem examination was conducted by Dr Maria Khalid approximately 12 hours after her death.

The report said that the exact cause of death could not be conclusively determined initially. Samples have been sent to a forensic laboratory to establish the cause of death, while DNA samples from the deceased have also been forwarded for analysis.

According to the post-mortem report, Hina Javed was allegedly hanged by her husband. Samples collected for forensic examination were handed over to Lady Constable Rafia Tabassum.

A murder case has been registered at Saddar Police Station on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Fahad Javed.

Police have arrested Hina Javed’s husband and the employee allegedly involved in the incident and have obtained three-day physical remand of both suspects.
