A case of alleged corporal punishment at a private school in Nazimabad’s Paposh Nagar area came to light on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, female teachers, along with the school head, allegedly subjected a minor student to severe punishment. When the child’s mother arrived at the school to lodge a complaint, she and some other parents were also reportedly manhandled by staff members.

Expressing anger over the incident, the parents and local residents have urged the provincial education minister to take notice of the incident and order strict action against the teachers and school head.
