KP Assembly session adjourned after PML-N MPA brings CDF Asim Munir’s photo

An unusual incident occurred during a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session when PML-N member Sobia Shahid brought a photo of Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir into the assembly hall.

Deputy Speaker Suraya Bibi expressed her displeasure at the act and addressed Sobia Shahid, asking her to sit down calmly and avoid deliberately disturbing the proceedings.

The situation escalated when Sobia Shahid began chanting slogans in support of the Field Marshal, further heightening tensions in the assembly.

Due to the disruption, the Deputy Speaker decided to adjourn the session until December 15.

Earlier, Field Marshal Asim Munir has accused India of being behind terrorism, saying that Pakistan does not fight from the shadows but challenges its enemies openly.

Addressing the National Ulema and Mashayikh Conference, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces said that there is a deep connection between the State of Madinah and the State of Pakistan, and that their defence partnership holds historical significance.

Field Marshal Munir stated that among all Muslim countries, Pakis
