The death toll from the suicide bombing at the imambargah in Islamabad has risen to 38, according to hospital data.

According to reports, PIMS received 28 dead bodies initially, while Polyclinic recorded four deaths, making the death toll 32.

A day later, one patient at PIMS and three injured patients transferred to HBS Institute of Healthcare and Allied Health Sciences succumbed to their wounds, raising the count to 36.

Two more, one at Polyclinic and another at a private hospital, passed away on Monday.

Medical records from Polyclinic reveal seven patients are currently in critical condition, with one on a ventilator. At PIMS, 40 injured remain under treatment, seven of whom are in the ICU.
