Six Fitna al-Hindustan militants killed in Balochistan IBO: security sources

Six militants affiliated with Fitna al Hindustan were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Saran Tangi area, security sources said on Tuesday.

The sources said that security forces carried out the IBO in Saran Tangi based on intelligence reports, killing six suspected militants. Nine other suspected individuals were also arrested during the operation.

According to the security sources, the operation was conducted against militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan following intelligence-based information. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the militants killed in the operation.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the operation.

The president and prime minister also commended the courage and professionalism of the security forces for foiling the militants’ alleged plans.
