Seven Pakistani pilgrims from the Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lost their lives, and six others were injured in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia while returning from performing Umrah.

According to family sources, a group of 13 individuals from the Totalai area had travelled to the Kingdom to perform the pilgrimage. The accident occurred as they were journeying from Arafat to Madinah.

The victims, both the deceased and the injured, belong to the extended family of Umar Bacha.

Following the news of the incident, a wave of mourning swept through the Totalai area, where residents gathered to offer condolences and prayers.

Family members confirmed that funeral prayers for the deceased will be held in Saudi Arabia. The injured are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital in the Kingdom.

All those who lost their lives are reported to be from the same family or close relatives.
