Police surgeon releases Mir Raza Ali's initial post-mortem report, torture marks found

Office of the Police Surgeon Karachi has released the post-mortem report of Mir Raza Ali murder case.

According to the report, the body was in an advanced stage of decomposition. There were worms everywhere on the dead body.

The report stated that the time between death and post-mortem was about 12 days.

There was a deep wound on the right side of the skull, the report stated and added that fractures were identified in different parts of the skull.

"Blood clots were present in various parts of the skull. The report mentions a 12 cm fracture of the right hip bone."

Four maxillary teeth were revealed to be impacted, the report noted and added tha a fracture of the sixth rib on the right side.

The sixth rib was found to be broken into several pieces. A blood clot was present in the left pleural cavity, the report revealed.

Firearm entry wound on the chest is indicated in the report. The size of the internal bullet wound was 0.8 cm, the medical board report headed by the police surgeon stated.

There were black marks around the bullet wound. Two circular lesions on the heart were revealed.

The report further highlighted traces of dark muscle on the back of the heart. External bullet wound is also mentioned in the report.

The bullet exit wound was on the left side of the chest, the report said and added the size of the exit wound was 1.5 by 1.2 cm.
