Noreen Niazi shifted back to Kot Lakhpat Jail after medical tests

Noreen Niazi, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has been shifted back to Kot Lakhpat Jail after receiving medical attention at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore.

According to sources, she was taken to the hospital on the evening of October 28 after experiencing chest pain and elevated blood pressure.

Doctors conducted a detailed medical examination, including several diagnostic tests, among them a Troponin-T test used to detect potential heart muscle damage associated with a heart attack.

The test results were reported to be normal. Her ECG and other medical assessments also showed satisfactory findings.

Hospital officials confirmed that her blood pressure was brought under control with medication and that her overall condition remained stable. Doctors further determined that an angiography was not required at that stage.

Following the medical assessment and completion of the necessary tests, Noreen was discharged from the hospital and transferred back to Kot Lakhpat Jail.

She remains in preventive detention under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) in connection with PTI's protest march. Her detention was extended for a further 30 days in October.
