Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has submitted a written response to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), seeking clarification over his summons, the retention of his mobile phone and an alleged disciplinary violation, sources said on Tuesday.
Rizwan sent his response to the agency through courier, according to sources.
In the letter, Rizwan questioned why he had been summoned by the NCCIA and sought clarification about the reason for the inquiry.
He also asked why his mobile phone had not yet been returned and sought details of the alleged disciplinary violation attributed to him, sources said.
Rizwan and Test opener Imam-ul-Haq are being questioned by the NCCIA over alleged dressing-room leaks during the ongoing Test series against England. The inquiry reportedly involves data obtained from their mobile phones.
