Actor Shahzad Sheikh opened up about his parents' separation, saying that couples should consider the impact on their children before making the decision and provide honest explanations about the reasons of divorce.

Shahzad Sheikh is the son of veteran actor Javed Sheikh and Zeenat Mangi. The couple divorced after being married for several years. They also have a daughter, Momal Sheikh, who is also a renowned actress.

The 'Khudparast' actor recently appeared on a podcast where he disclosed that his parents still live in the same house with him even though they are divorced.

He acknowledged the crucial role his mother played in raising him and his sister Momal Sheikh. Following their parents' divorce, Shahzad and his sister lived with their mother.

"Credit goes to my mother who never stopped us from meeting our father. She would send us to Lahore to spend time with my paternal family, ensuring our bond with him remained strong," Shahzad explained.

The "Alif Allah Aur Insan' actor revealed that his parents might regret their separation, saying, "I can see in my mother and father's eyes that the decision wasn't right." However, he added, "The disagreements between them are still the same as they were years ago."

"My mother lives in the upper portion and my father lives in the lower portion of the house," he revealed a unique living arrangement for the entire family.

Javed Sheikh married former actress Zeenat Mangi and the couple eventually divorced. He later tied the knot with singer Salma Agha, but that marriage also ended in separation.
