Fact Check: Has PTI's MNA Sheikh Waqas Akram joined PML-N?

Claim:

Claims are being made on social media that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's newly elected MNA from Jhang has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, after meeting Maryam Nawaz.

The claim was made by X user Chaudhry Waqar Younis and he shared a picture of Sheikh Waqas Akram with Maryam Nawaz.

Fact:

Newly elected MNA from Jhang, Sheikh Waqas Akram has rejected the claims of joining PML-N.

Akram in his post on social media platform X, said his edited picture is being shared on social media claiming that he has joined PML-N.

I'm and I will remain "Khiladi" of Imran Khan, Waqas said.
